Side-Cutting Stainless Steel Can Opener, 21 x 6 x 4cm | Welvere

This side-cutting can opener uses a gear-driven stainless steel blade to cut around the outside of a can’s rim. It self-attaches to the can; turn the knob to cut and remove the lid, which can also be lifted off with the opener. The cutting wheel stays clear of the food inside.

Designed for round and oval cans, the compact opener has a long handle and a non-slip turning knob. It can be stored in a kitchen drawer or cabinet, or carried for travel and camping.

Features

• Side-cutting action: The blade cuts at the rim from the side, leaving a smooth, clean edge.
• Food stays clear of the cutting wheel: The wheel cuts on the outside of the can and does not touch its contents. The lid can be placed back on the can without falling inside.
• Handle and knob: The long, ergonomically designed handle and non-slip turning knob are intended to make turning straightforward and require little effort.
• Portable design: The compact opener is suitable for round and oval cans and can be carried when travelling or camping, as well as stored in a kitchen drawer or cabinet.
• Blade construction: The stainless steel blade is described as durable and rust-resistant.
